Day 16 Queenstown

Another hectic day with a full schedule of activities. A swim in the local events centre to help us recover from our adventures yesterday. On up the Kawarau river to an old gold mine. A step back in time. An informative tour was followed by the opportunity to try our hand at panning for gold. Unfortunately no luck but our Silverware gear is still intact. Most of the group took an opportunity to experience a jet boat ride down the gorge. A quick lunch was followed by a light training session where Wednesday’s teams got a chance to run some patterns. Dinner was cooked by the groups who hadn’t cooked last Friday evening. Packing was done and on request from the boys an early night to bed.
